    Lynadawn Farkas

When I was 23 years old, I had a Near Death experience, and I came back with the knowing that I was with Source/Creator, and how incredibly loved I felt…truly indescribable in human words.  Many years later, in the beginning of 2019, Spirit told me to retire my decorative art business, for it was time for me to become a comfort to others.

I was then trained in trauma, bereavement and grief, and I volunteered with Hospice while also becoming an Interfaith/Interspiritual Minister and certified Spiritual Companion.

Since 2022, I have been helping to co-create the Center for Conscious Living and Dying, a heart-centered community in Asheville, NC that is devoted to embracing dying as a sacred life passage.  My NDE brings me a perspective that helps those that I am tending to, that are afraid of death, die with a sense of peace and curiosity. My work also includes holding space and helping guide families of the dying, as they navigate their grief.

My little black panther cat, Kumara, brings more playfulness and joy to my life, and I spend much time in nature – one of my greatest teachers.
